Hi, Just wanted to leave a few comments. I understand that game development is hard. I've been working on a game on Scratch too and I'm planning on uploading it to Newgrounds. :) The problem is I added so much stuff that Scratch decides to crash on me.. Luckily you're not at that stage yet. xD
Anyway, How do I play this game. It looks interesting but I have no guide on controls. Just a backstory. I understand this is just a teaser but the game is confusing and I dont know how to prevent the explosion. Please give a brief description for the controls on how to play this game.
I'm leaving 3 stars because I like the concept but it needs to be developed more.
Also coding or learning another software can be intimidating at times but once you learn and do it, It will make your life a whole lot easier trust me.
I know Scratch is easy to learn but they don't have good port options. Scratch only lets you publish to the scratch website and you have to find third party options (like junebeetles scratch to flash converter). Scratch doesn't let you easily convert to swf, html5, exe, or app which sucks. To make it worse the newer Scratch3 that's coming out won't allow you to convert to html5 or swf. Plus scratch isn't great for games that require a lot of power like my games. Once you add so much sprites and scripts in scratch sometimes it crashes on you multiple times.
That's why I'm saying Scratch is a great starting option but it isn't a good game engine to grow with. There are plenty of other options that I won't mention and Stencyl also seems like a good starting point (searched it up.. looks like something Scratchers can pick up) though I'm learning Unity.
What I'm trying to say is I would learn the new software and use that instead of sticking with a limited software and then realize you can't do much stuff with it. Once you make complex stuff with Scratch it will crash on you.. Yeah.. just a warning..
Anyway good look! :)
